'Sophia in Sofia' is something that people kept telling me while in this capital.
Delightful - is the word that pops in my head when I think of this place, the area around the hotel is a little meh, but boy, could I spend whole days in this hotel.
The only point I would deduct is for a hair dryer, which I could not find in my room.
Everything esle, and I mean, EVERYTHING else was pure perfection.
People were kind and generous, attentive and polite, and tried to help wherever they could.
Getting a taxi, getting a meal, finding your way, there is someone at hand to help with that.
The rooms are spacious, the decor clean, and the cleanliness was faultless. Plushy, and comfortable, could get room service for dinner, and had no issues with noise (this might be my luck, but I could not hear a thing all night and slept like a baby).

You guys know how much I LOVE spas, and I how much I try to find hotels that offer at least a sauna.
Well, this was next level, the swimming pool is magnificent, there is also a sauna and a steam room, as well as a small relaxation area.
Nothing amiss, everything superb! Well done Maison Sofia, top service and wonderful facilities 👌mwwaa! Chef's kiss!
All this for cheaper than I am paying now - for a substandard service in a chain hotal in Bucharest - get your act together, people!
